While I'd love a shiny new thermapen i'll sit this one out - already have several thermometers and I just tested them hoping they'd be out of calibration and I'd need to get a new one, alas, they're all accurate to within 2 degrees. /firstworld problem.

I recently managed to snag two of these superfast thermopen 5's from ebay UK from the manufacturer ETI Ltd over here.

They were getting rid of some refurb stock and were going for about £29 each . RRP over here for them is £48.

Should be taking delivery of them today, I always wanted one of these to replace by existing thermometer and jumped at the chance for that price.

In hindsight I should have purchased more of them.

OK, that's 15 EOI's. Everybody who has posted an EOI has been added to the EOI list. Those who haven't indicated a colour preference, could you please do so. It makes it easier for me to keep track

If we select a second shipping destination (e.g. Sydney) then the price for everybody goes up, because we have to split the shipping to two destinations.

I will continue to wait to see how many EOI's we get. Ideally, we get 24 EOI's and confirmed orders - then the shipping will remain the same.

How do you manage to do two batches with the same shipping cost?

Eg

Batch A) Order to the value of under a $1000 to Person A / Destination A + shipping costs
Batch B) Orders to the value of under a $1000 to Person B / Destination B + shipping costs

If you send 24 items to the same address with same name, surely we will get slugged GST?

He means for each batch of 12 the shipping cost is the lowest you can get as this is the magic number in order to get within the $1000 threshold.

If he gets 20 orders then the split doesnt take full advantage of the above.
