probably around $400.
$350 if you try hard enough.

A great choice for first dress watch.

RRP is $550 IIRC.

You can regularly get 30% off at brick and morter watch shops in Sydney. another $50 off isn't a stretch.

When it comes to watches bargin bargin bargin. There's alot of room.

been looking for a pic of my watch online but cant find one its a lorus sports water resist to 100m. Ive had it since my 21's and its one of the few things that survived the house fire! it has a few chips and scratches but i love it!

it has a blue face with glow in dark lines on it, analogue and also has a digital display with a light in it.. it'd be about 5 years old and only has had one battrey change. Stainless steel band as well

Just got another watch

I cannot help myself. Whenever I see a nice watch I just want it. Its like a fetish. A really expensive fetish.

I bought it for everyday use. It will not be used as a going out watch. A going out watch has class. This one almost makes it, but not quiet.

I went and had a look at some Seikos. No one had Seiko 5s.

No one had much range, but looked at a few chronographs. They're so small?!?

For seiko5's just go to eBay. Find a seller with good feedback who doesn't charge a fortune for postage, and you're set. The 5's were originally made as a budget hard wearing watch for the teeming masses of Asia. Australians are forced to pay more for inferior quartz movement junk.

What are your views on watche prices between Aus and Asia vs US from retailers?

Do we have competitive prices (including GST rebate) or should one wait to go overseas for more choice and better pricing etc.
