The only bad point about the wheel is the gear levers, the fact that they don't move with the wheel has meant some strange gear shifts mid corner.

The pedals are fantastic, nice and solid, the accelerator feels just right, the brake pedal is nice too, but I hear there is a mod to make it feel more realistic, so I will try that out when I get a chance.
the force feedback Ive always left it as default, did take a little getting used to though. and the gear levers...well only the odd time i don't like it now, early shifts in the Z make little difference though
and yeah i haven't tried the pedal mod...probably should at some stage

Thanks mate for that. Looks awesome.

Can't help but think that the seat is what makes it so expensive, though, looking at it.

Interesting about the pedals, I'm sure its supposed to fit the pedals both ways, f1 and gt mode with T500.

I leaning towards getting one of these, just the price is a sticking point at the moment. (I'll have my cup of concrete in the morning, probably.)

I seen cheaper ones like the Playseat although not sure I'd be happy with the bar in the middle.

So I thought I was having phone line problems and was about to say I wont be able to race until I get it fixed, turns out it was this POS Belkin modem dropping out and downloading at 1.5mbs.
I have borrowed a mates old Billion beast and the line speeds are back to normal with zero drop outs.
Was going mental thinking I finally get back to being able to join the banter sessions mixed with a bit of racing then my line is fkd!

Anyway, what's a good modem/router you guys would recommend for Bigpond ADSL2+?

Mate, just about anything but D-Link will be fine. D-Link's can have problems with PS3 & PSN apparently.

I'm keen for a run too. Just waiting on stuff to arrive for a headphone + mic setup to arrive so I don't disturb the bubs while he's sleeping.
