I've had my Intel 520 120GB for a month of smooth sailing. I did a fresh install though. And this is on an overclocked Q6600 @ 3.2ghz ( it has CPU degradation so now I need to pump 1.45v through it). Try on a non-overclocked system?

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sear...age+Technology ... but yeah, that's why I went Marvel based SSD. 520 should be fine though on ahci with 10.8.0.1003 if not then this might help.. http://forum.notebookreview.com/soli...jjb-tweak.html (these are settings that supposedly reduce/remove the sleep related bsod for some drives without turning off C states and messing up the CPU throttle down... see later in thread) Last edited by fileant; 21st July 2012 at 12:36 AM. |
