I have had a BSOD F1 error.
And today my c: drive disappeared while using the PC.

This is shit - Have had ongoing support back and forth which is substandard as well. Had not received any replacement yet - one month of problems.

I've had my Intel 520 120GB for a month of smooth sailing. I did a fresh install though. And this is on an overclocked Q6600 @ 3.2ghz ( it has CPU degradation so now I need to pump 1.45v through it).

Try on a non-overclocked system?

Download and install Intel RST 10.8.0.1003 and make sure you BIOS is compatible with 10.6.0.1002 to 10.8.0.1003. (the RST BIOS OROM version listed in the 10.8 readme or slightly older is OK.)

... but yeah, that's why I went Marvel based SSD. 520 should be fine though on ahci with 10.8.0.1003

if not then this might help..

(these are settings that supposedly reduce/remove the sleep related bsod for some drives without turning off C states and messing up the CPU throttle down... see later in thread)
