It looks like a good way to get on snow in spring.
I wish the Vic Resorts would jump on board. I'm almost tempted to make the trek across for a couple of days. |

Does that $199 deal include SkiTube pass? Even if you get transport to the hotel you still need transport to the SkiTube, then another pass to be on the SkiTube right?

I stayed in a studio in Morzine - self organised. A guy I work with went with HOFNAR though and said it was brilliant. Also worth considering if you're doing a solo'ish trip is UCPA - they are a french non-profit organisation (that sell to the UK market too) who are really really good value I think. I've not been but snowheads has reasonably good things to say about them. Think €350-600 for accommodation, all food, lift passes and board/ski rental. Some include lessons of various levels. You only need to sort out flights and transfers. It's probably all very basic and hostely (they're for 18-39year olds) but great value. |

How long does everyone go between hot waxes?
I've skied 4 days since my last one, wondering whether to get it done again before my next outing. |

Was snowing pretty heavily at Falls Creek when I left about an Hour ago.
Fingers crossed it stays cold and keeps snowing. I'm pretty slack on board maintenance ,I'll only wax it if its noticeably grippy on snow that shouldn't be. I've probably ridden 15 days this season, and it started to feel a bit sticky in places today. So I'll get it done before I go out next time (friday hopefully). I'll have to dig out a longer board if theres Fresh snow... for some reason, I doubt my 153 will float my 6'2 100 (and the rest) KG frame. |

. Sunday was above 0 and clear, blue skies which meant the lifts to orchard could open. So much fun.I only hit one skier, who cut me off, the whole weekend.
