Despite popular opinion, I really like TJ build. Post some pics when you can.

ok, no probs. the biggest problem you will have is the GPU blocks. tensioning them wrong etc. Just take your time!!!

All good, I bought nerbox's 6950s, so looks like Its not going to be a problem. But then again, I might take them apart just for the fun(?) of it.

Should be a great build dude. TJ07 = win.

Highly recommend against removing the blocks though...given the load temps I saw (41oC max furmark on both cards, low fan speeds, 24-26oC ambient) remounting them will not do you any favours.

Not to mention it means you have to do an extra drain and refill, as you'll need to test the cards arrive safely before you remove the blocks and risk killing them...

Add cost of tape, plus lots of time cleaning the paste off vram / core / block and remounting.....

Not to mention just pulled the block off my third card to sell separately - paste application was immaculate

(have mounted 6 blocks and counting )

the fun bit of wc is the building, once its running its just a super quiet epeen

check the manual or reviews for the pad size
but i just get a few of each size as they are cheap and then u have them for other uses

^ Absolutely true.

Which is why theres value in leaving mounting a GPU block for later - no doubt he will get the tinker bug that all WCers end up with

Until they shake it and buy a loud, hot lappy

(well, pretend to shake, whilst trolling WC forums...)
