that pureview phone is the epitome of everything that is wrong with nokia. left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. imagine if it was running meego!

i would be very surprised if these new nokia windows phones will make much traction in the market. nokia doesn't have the stage presence that it once did. people who 5 years ago wouldnt touch anything other than a nokia have all shifted to new brands to be loyal to (samsung, HTC, apple).

the types of people who still pledge blind brand allegiance to nokia arent the type of person who is going to want a smartphone, either.

If WM could do it then Nokia wouldn't have needed to use Symbian.

I ordered one today.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to giving the camera a work out.

For me, having the best camera available in a phone is more important than having the trendiest handset.

Make sure you update the firmware if it's available - when the 800/900 was released, there were some firmware issues with the camera which resulted in some images given certain light conditions to have a blue tinge to it. A subsequent firmware release for the phones corrected this issue. As reports goes and sample images I've seen, the 8mpix sensor along with the CZ lens on the Lumia range gives pretty good results.
