I've got a Powershot G10 where the screws for the case and the strap holder are just randomly falling out... which is scary because it's such a nice camera
![]() Googling around a bit shows it's not uncommon for this to happen on this model because of a lack of loctite at the factory or somesuch thing. The only place I can find on the net wants $7/pair for screws, can OCAU leverage their contacts for a better deal? Willing to trade grog/money/whatever for enough screws to replace all the external ones on this unit, as at last count there's only one left :S |

The screws are most probably of a standard metric size. If you remove the last one and take it to a fasteners shop you should be able to get it matched and get a set for around $1.
I'm pretty sure canon don't make screws so I doubt you'll need official canon replacements.
