Nice, that counter is rising pretty quickly

I doubt many people will know what Wasteland is or what it was responsible for

Have not played the game but have played many other interplay games. Will be pledging next week for sure.

Man I loved Wasteland, that and Pirates! were my favourite games of the era.

Heh - Me too - Did you increase your contribution by $15 to allow them to ship your Wasteland 2 loot to Aus?

I wasted so much time on this when at Uni. Probably accounted for a subject repeat or two

Oct 13 is a long way off, should be pleasant surprise when the game arrives as I will probably have forgotten it by then, haha

That's pretty awesome, it's basically the lead development team from Fallout 1 & 2 with the old school wasteland guys. Hot.

Isometric? It says top down, so I'm guessing it's going to be turn based.

I think it will be

No publisher dick heads, no mass market kiddies to care about, they'll be motivated by doing what they love, no ridiculous marketing budget needed and the project will pay for itself (unless they market it a lot out of their own pocket)

It's going to be great.

I've heard of Wasteland, but never actually played it. I did play Fountain of Dreams however and despite all of it's shortcomings, I didn't think it was that bad of a game.

I'm not sure if I'll jump on this... As I was born in 92 and starting gaming around 2001, fallout 1 and 2 are from a gaming age that I missed. I did buy fallout 1 and 2 from gog and I didn't really get into it, although, I'll admit, I didn't give it a fair chance.

Do what I do with all those anal RPGs that try to turn your PC into a set of dice and piece of paper: cheat the everloving fuck out of your character, and turn it into an adventure game.
