Yeah it is a 2C. Oh well the refresh rate doesn't bother me as I don't play games.

The colour on the other hand I find to be terrible out of the box. It's wayyy to cool and I can't seem to find a white point manually.

So I really need to get my hands on a monitor calibrator...

Also I bought mine with a friend who ordered us the YAMAKASI Catleap Q2770 SE with glass >.< So not a big fan of that.. guess I'll get use to it though.

Hey guys just received my achieva shimian like 30minutes ago and this thing is awesome. I got it from ta_planet and they sent me a little note with it saying its perfect pixel. I got this for ~$320 and I am so happy with it. I couldnt belive how bright it is compared to my 245B samsung. Im not quite sure whether its overclockable or not as I havent looked into it much. Can the achieva monitors be overclocked too or is it just the catleap?

They have a fairly thick bezel so it probs wouldn't be that great in surround. I highly recommend them though.

Good point forgot about that.

Either way sounds great for 320. I'm waiting on the 120hz models they plan to release soon. If i'm gonna get just 1, i'd rather it be 120hz!

Yes, but not at 2560x1440, unless it has mini-displayport connector and you use a mini-displayport to dual-link DVI adapter.

Do any of these monitors have the OSD on them, or are they all requiring calibration by the video card? Some sellers are stating that they won't work with certain cards, like my HD5870. Any reason why that would be?
