I've bought other things from Selby and they've been of reasonable quality but not monitor stands...
They are in Sydney though aren't they?

SE Melbourne, they have a decent sized warehouse/showroom, so I might go check it out in person. The 30 days money back guarantee is good too.

Reckon Selby might have even been a National concern, Selby Scientific ring a bell?

Nope, not familar with it.

I've been buying random cables from them for many years now, pretty sure I got my first HDMI cables from them back in like 2006 as well.

I just hope that the stand can hold 2x 27"s, if it does, I'll let everyone know about it.

A new name for the list - BRIGHT BR-B270QH100

I'm tempted if the stand is better than the Catleap one.

Their specs only recommend 24" and 12kg; id be weary buying that stand; since you could likely end up with a stand just as wobbly as the catleaps (assuming they fit at all)

Anyone bought one of these recently and do some gaming here and there?

Looks like ones that will legit do 120hz without issues are not on sale on ebay or 120hz.com, so 60hz would be the go.

I'm looking at one 27" monitor at 2560x1440 instead of my 1x 24" or 2x 22" monitors at 1920x1080 60hz. Can anyone vouch as for if there is seriously any noticeable lag/latency? Would be good if it had HDMI but I've heard this increases input lag...

PC mainly for browsing/movies/Music Production, and also gaming, but not primarily gaming.

I played LoL and Diablo 3 on it fine, no noticeable input lag.

Also if anyone wants the dual stand for them from pccasegear, I would probably recommend this one instead of the one linked above:

Which model do you have/do you have the one with the HDMI port? How are movies and FPS games?

I was thinking of getting a HDMI one for my PS3, but I RARELY ever use it so I'm not sure if it's worth it since people are saying more ports = more lag.

specs say catleaps weight 7kg each and I think that includes their flimsy stand... so should be ok

but you are right about the arm width - I forgot to check that. PCCGs version of the ebay stand would then be $185+shipping

The PCCG stand have 200x200 VESA, so it's only good for 24" monitors. The Selby one looks to be a 200x100 VESA, with holes in the middle to allow it to stretch a monitor a few more cm out.

I was advised by their support that it'll work with 2x 27"s on the VESA board, using 100x100 mounts.

I'm going to buy one on the weekend and test it out, so we'll know for sure then.

Since when? I thought it was on the 'Multi' versions that had issues with 120hz... I thought all the monitors being sold by 120hz.net are not Multi's?

Oh. 120hz.net had legit non-multi ones that could hit that rate, but they are sold out. That was what I mean't re: 120hz.net

Cheapest catleap at the time, the Q270, I haven't played too many FPS games since i got it, I'll hop into BF3 and have a look for you.

I have no idea about the more ports=more lag thing, but depends on how often you're gunna use it i guess, the price goes up pretty quickly as soon as you add extra ports to it, also someone was mentioning they may not be HDCP compliant? or maybe that was with an adapter, but something to think about at least.
