i'd get a 2TB HDD to store your vids, music, etc. on it but other than that it's solid....oh and an WMC remote might go well too!

Will be streaming via Gigabit from a NAS.
So I shouldn't run into any issues with the machine not coping with BluRay backups?
Still undecided about whether or not I need more fans for cooling...Thinking I will just get 4x 80mm and see if I need them.
I have a WMC remote and a USB infrared receiver around the house somewhere, just have to find it
Will try and get a few pics up once it's done.

oh ok, i would still have some storage other than the SSD just in case (if you use it to rip BDs to be moved to the NAS later)....in such a case probably a 500GB to 1TB in addition is enough (the case only lets you have 2 HDDs and 1 ODD).

well, looks like the PSU decided to shit itself and take out the VFD/Remote section of my case...
if they could get more of this case i'd RMA it as it fits perfectly where i need it to, but they can't, so i can't

so far everything else seems ok..

oh ok, that PSU is gonna get messy inside since that series is not modular IIRC but could be wrong. I know the TX and HX series PSUs are modular and would have gotten those instead.

plenty of room in the case to curl up the spares
and the TX500 (next one up) is almost twice the price

i might look into getting a GT 620 card to replace the GTS 450 since the GT 620 is about the same price at a GT 440, doesn't require additional power from the PSU and it's a single slot card so i regain the slot taken by the cooler as well as less cable mess. then i can sell the GTS 450 on the OCAU forums.

maybe overkill but oh well!
