Went to North Sydney store, was about 10th in line, line was about 50 ppl deep.

I saw ONE X-Box console sold and when I got to the front they said no more X-Boxes, no more PS3, no more DSI (said they sold 3, I didn't see them sell these to anyone).

So was bloody disappointing. They hadn't marked the prices on the shelves. Had to go to the counter in a line and make requests.

Actually lots of companies and retailer/e-tailers do it. Another example that does it is JB-Hifi, they do it quite often.

Its not always the big stores that do it either, smaller mum and dad stores are also known to do it as well.

Sales folk are likely hoarding stock for themselves and their mates...

Didn't this sort of thing happen last time where hardly anything was sold to public and criticised because there was no reported ban from staff being able to hold stuff for themselves or a limit as to how much they could hold.

Parramatta had no stock marked down on the shelves but taking stuff to the counter got you a discount. Two xboxes for $200

no 250gb hdds though, or live or ms points. I didnt bother looking for anything else though.

What a load of shit that was... Went my local Dick Smith, they had nothing... NOT ONE item from the sale in stock, they rang around, the big store at Macarthur Square had 2 xboxes, 1 g19 and nothing else...

I hope someone rings up fair trading and dobs these jerkoffs in... Seriously, I know it's "In stock only" but seriously, why even bother with the sale if no stores have any stock left?
