This is why I use a temp monitor with an alarm feature (Everest Ultimate)

If I forget to crank up my fans before I launch a game I get a popup window a few minutes later that alt-tabs the game and steals focus to tell me the GPU has skyrocketed to 90°C

GTX480 + Zalman VF3000F cooler = happy temps and happy times.

Whats the best driver for the GTX560? Had to reinstall winblows last week, and all I get with the latest driver is NANS Detected Unstable Machine errors.

Possible that you need to stop your pc from turning the monitor off, known issue with new nvidia drivers, when it turns the screen off it issues weird commands to cuda programs. Power settings. You can turn the screen off manually or have screen saver, just not turn the screen off after xx amount.

Just a thought.

The new 302.80 Win8 preview drivers work well and seem to have dropped my temps a few degrees... I got mine over at Guru3D...

Realtemp is reporting 80 / 85deg for the two GPUs while Afterburner reports 70 / 80 deg (its a bit unseasonably cold here this morn - even the 2600K is reprting mid-high 50's when it's normally well into the 60's)

Seem to have found a more reliable driver by reverting to a 295 series one, it hasn't failed today yet touchwood.

Wow, glad to know I am not the only one using wire ties to anchor cheap 80mm case fans to video cards with dead fans!
