All of my 'ideas' are just demos of how the song may or may not be played. The people that play the respective instruments might use them as a guide.

Alright, I think the designated person should do what they've been assigned, but sure take ideas from natnoo's comp, they are pretty wicked!

So Nitro_jawt can you lay a track down first?
What form do we want?
Something simple like Intro, Verse, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Chorus, Solo?, Chorus x 2 to outro? Obviously feel free to add pre-chorus/short interludes wherever.

So, after nitro_jawt has done that, we'll get bass and some more guitars added, then track the vocals.

I think, royalnine you should make the lyrics, and then someone else sings them? So start working on those lyrics!

Would it be possible to write for any instrument regardless of whether you'll playing it or not? It seems a bit weird and stifling to me to only be able to provide lyrics and my lyrics are disgustingly bad.

Yep sounds good, keep it simple as this will get complicated very fast

I think we maybe start with a set of lyrics, they dont have to be final, but get a basic structure down.

Then i reckon set down the basic chord progression, something to give the singer to work with.

The guitarists can also use this to form a basic rhythm, probably working with a beat that is fairly simple - later we can expand it.

Synths and mastering should be done near the end to add body and feel - unless we want to have a synth melody? Either way the melody parts and singer will have to work together so we retain some consistency

Hey nitro, I think that should work fine! Tomorrow can you just do the complete song structure please? And get rid of the drum track as well so that I can add that

i don't really feel comfortable having WAV files being downloaded to my computer due to bandwidth constraints...

also have uni exams and whatnot coming up, so i probably wont be very active for about 6 weeks
