Default Daft question, second hand rooted device - security risk...?

Hello Wise OCAU Hegemony,

Just got me a shiny Android tablet, very happy with it. Second hand, it came rooted and wiped with S-Off. Should I unroot and S-On before putting on my accounts and passwords? Or am i being paranoid...?

While I'm asking silly questions, what is the easy way to unroot and set S-Off

Thanks for any tips or pointers!

If the person you got the phone from isn't nice they could have embeded stuff into the flash image they put on there...

I'd suggest doing a full wipe from recovery is a good idea. If you are really paranoied install a new rom.
