No time to google, submission in less than 2 hours.
2nd time this happened. Saved, everything closed, pull out on a lappy running Mint Linux. Corrupt file. Is Word Document. Last time I chkdsk and fixed, and it was still buggered. Then ran photorec and pulled old versions of the docoument out of thin air ('free space' I'm guessing). Backed up from there. But since then been sitting in one huge sessions doing lots of work. Now same thing happened. Want to fucking die. Running photorec to pull off what I can. Anything can uncorrupt it? OfficeRecovery is useless for this.

Time to get a new flash drive perhaps? or at least a total reformat. I had similar problems and ended up turfing the drive and then having two and keep one as a synched backup of the other (If using windows use fastcopy or similar to keep them synched, if linux, rsync)
Just a thought.

Problem was losing working after 1 session, before getting the chance to make a back up, in any case, submitted now, time for sleep.
