Rules

Entrants are based on the winners of the previous 12 months of Monthly Iron Folders.

The previous winners are eligible for Iron Folder Of The Year (IFOTY), with polls set up as such:

• All previous winners, in the last 12 months;
• The top 4 going into a second poll for a final IFOTY poll;
• Both polls to last 7 days;
• In the case of a tied vote for the first vote, the tied person/s go into the second vote;
• In the case of a tied IFOTY second poll, a third poll would be put up, also running for 7 days, with the tied leaders only

Iron Folder of the Year is not eligible to be re-nominated for Folder of the Month/Iron Folder.
(If somehow I manage to win the IFOTY I will withdraw from the May IFOTM thread, just to make things clear)

Looking for ideas/prize for this years winner, last year Retard was given a fbox from members of the team.

I voted old sniper for Several reasons. For hitting serveral milestones this year and also the fun that we had with trying to chase down team GOM to 100 mill.
also for being an enthusiastic team on the ocau

I've put in a vote for leroy for his tireless efforts in encouraging the team, organising IFOTM/IOFTY, captaining Monkey_Bollocks, and generally being a deadset relentless folder and team player.

He is probably the most active team member here on the forums, is on IRC as often as he can be, is always ready to offer assistance and advice to new/returning folders, and never seems to have a bad word to say about anybody.
His avatar pretty much says it all really...

Re. prizes, how healthy is the Team24 folding fund looking? I'd be happy to make another donation to boost the kitty if it means we can afford to give the winner a nice little mobo or something.
I could probably part with one of my 560Ti's as they are not folding much these days due to power costs... but obviously the same concerns might apply to the winner.
Anybody got a Sandy CPU or mobo that they won't need after upgrading to Sandy-E or Ivy?
Or possibly we could all chip in $10 for a Myer/Westfield/whatever gift voucher, or maybe an itunes card or something?

Just to throw it out there but isn't the idea of these polls for the folding community to vote for their peers & not for people to vote for themselves?
Whilst i think we are all equally awesome i think it would contribute more of a team spirit if we cast votes toward others.

Re: voting for self, its not overly important, I had my reason this time around to make this poll public, but last year it was not public. It doesnt matter who you vote for, as long as you vote! Poll closes today, as does the IFOTM poll.
