Default Enjoyment

Had a phone call from Optus

Anyway he wanted my DOB to confirm my identity but I told him I dont give out private details to unsolicited phone calls , he then said how about my account number and I gave him the same answer

He didnt know what to say

Pure enjoyment........

When I get calls like that, I ask him for his full name, address, drivers licence number and date of birth, so I can verify his identity. They very quickly catch on why it's not a good idea to to be asking those questions...

I usually ask them for their contact details, pop them on hold then ring their number. You would surprised what responses you get.

I had some guy from supposedly my bank call me up a few years ago and ask me for my details, he actually got quite angry when I told him to fuck off.

The scary thing is how many people will just start answering the questions, Australians are far too trusting.

The next best one is when "Microsoft" ring to tell you that they've detected a virus, and they need to clean it, or else you will be cut off from the internet.

They get real confused when I tell them I'm running an IBM System Z on z/OS, but does he think he'd be able to help me anyway?
