USB Drive issues X360

I got a 4Gb Xbox 360 back at Christmas time and just used a 16 Gig Corsair USB drive for demos and it appears that some of my save games ended up on it also.

For some reason the Xbox doesnt even see the USB drive anymore. It will see other USB drives when they are inserted.

If I put the drive in my PC I see the Drive and the Xbox folders. Curious as to why the Xbox refuses now to recognise the drive ?

If I bought another 16 gig USB drive and formatted for Xbox then copied all the other folders across will the save games still be there ?

so is there any way to get back my Forza save games which are on the USB stick that the XBOX fails to recognise now.

because the game saves are not even visible when you plug the stick into the PC....not to mention even the partition you set for it is not visible.
