Hey guys im looking at some 2.0 speakers for the PC came across a few can stretch the budget a bit but i am curious to know what people think of these
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=17863 http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=11824 I really do not want to spend more then $250 for a decent set that will produce great clarity for mids and highs and with a bit of bass.. but looking for a very crisp sound.. Any recommendations?

Creative : Definately not.
Audioengine : The P5 is a passive speaker. You'll need an amp. The Audioengine A2 is in your budget, they will suit well. Others to brands to consider: Swan (few very nice models, may be in your budget) Aktimate (the lower end ones) Harman Kardon (Soundsticks) Microlab (SOLO 6C) |

Sorry, no personal experience with them. Purely based of this guys comments and thoughts:
http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh...801519&page=50 3rd post down. They honestly seem like a good cheap set of quality speakers. I think it helps that the brand isn't widely known yet. Worth a look if thats your budget, thats for sure. |

As for my specs, I was tempted and contemplating the X series CPU and after many reviews and much reading i couldn't comprehend the extra money for a small increase in performance specially when i will possibly upgrade down the track. Yeah u cannot go wrong with the intel SSD's i had a OCZ Agility 3 first off the bat and wasnt that crash hot then i got the intels and wow big difference! I am yet to post up some pics of my build i am actually looking at doing some more sleeving as i just did the 24pin but fuck it was a nightmare! lol I am wondering if these PSU sleeved cables will actually work with a seasonic XP-1000w Platnium PSU or will they only work on the corsairs? http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supp...les-white.html

May I ask what you'll use them for primarily? If you want cheap and very accurate sound reproduction with incredible clarity, I'd recommend "Equator D5". These are around $299 for the pair, but the quality of a set of speakers well over $1000.

Will mostly be used for music some gaming, but still want something that has great high's and mids with a crisp sound. Will look at those ones.
