Question Recommendations for 2.0 Speakers?

Hey guys im looking at some 2.0 speakers for the PC came across a few can stretch the budget a bit but i am curious to know what people think of these

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=17863

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=11824

I really do not want to spend more then $250 for a decent set that will produce great clarity for mids and highs and with a bit of bass.. but looking for a very crisp sound.. Any recommendations?

Creative : Definately not.

Audioengine : The P5 is a passive speaker. You'll need an amp.

The Audioengine A2 is in your budget, they will suit well.

Others to brands to consider:

Swan (few very nice models, may be in your budget)
Aktimate (the lower end ones)
Harman Kardon (Soundsticks)
Microlab (SOLO 6C)

Sorry, no personal experience with them. Purely based of this guys comments and thoughts:

http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh...801519&page=50

3rd post down. They honestly seem like a good cheap set of quality speakers. I think it helps that the brand isn't widely known yet.

Worth a look if thats your budget, thats for sure.

I was actually looking at those corsair ones the other week those swan ones seem good but i am not a fan of the wood grain style though i may consider it hehe..

As for my specs, I was tempted and contemplating the X series CPU and after many reviews and much reading i couldn't comprehend the extra money for a small increase in performance specially when i will possibly upgrade down the track. Yeah u cannot go wrong with the intel SSD's i had a OCZ Agility 3 first off the bat and wasnt that crash hot then i got the intels and wow big difference! I am yet to post up some pics of my build i am actually looking at doing some more sleeving as i just did the 24pin but fuck it was a nightmare! lol

I am wondering if these PSU sleeved cables will actually work with a seasonic XP-1000w Platnium PSU or will they only work on the corsairs? http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supp...les-white.html

May I ask what you'll use them for primarily? If you want cheap and very accurate sound reproduction with incredible clarity, I'd recommend "Equator D5". These are around $299 for the pair, but the quality of a set of speakers well over $1000.

Will mostly be used for music some gaming, but still want something that has great high's and mids with a crisp sound. Will look at those ones.
