Default AU Ring tone audio clip?

Does anyone have an audio clip of the australian ringing tone?

dial tone (sound you hear when you pick up the phone to make a call) or ring tone (the sound a phone makes when rung)...? ggogle sound effects... or even just record your own...

Ring tone, yeah i was going ot do that but thought one of the voip guys might already have one on hand they could link me too.

ring tone is the sound a phone makes when called. there is no standard, it's generated by the phone handset.

I suspect what you want is a caller tone (which is what the hideous "ringback" tones replace). that's what the caller hears before the call recipient answers.

Depending on what you're programming it for, some VOIP devices allow you to configure the cadence/frequency manually - have a google, there's a heap of settings for varying routers out there.

Have a look here for the Billion, or using ToneScript for Linksys/Cisco kit.

OP is after the side played to the caller (through the earpiece) right?

I would like wave files of the other end (sorry, OP, I'm stealing the thread a little), if anyone knows of any... Old bell style, office beepy style - don't really care. Just as long as it's loud, clear and Australian style.
