Default HIS 6950 IceQ X 2GB vs the turbo model

Hey I recent purchased one of the above cards.
The only difference i can see from my model and the turbo x model is mine runs at 800 and the turbo x runs at 880 (gpu clock) They both have the same color is there any actual difference on the cards themselves? Would i be able to safely oc to the turbo x clocks ?

Cheers

Yes, they are identical.

When buying overclocked cards there is a better chance you'll get a chip that overclocks pretty well, whereas buying a normal one means it could be anything from a lemon that refuses to budge much off stock, to an absolute flyer. Same applies for overclocked ones, theres just a higher chance that you'll get one thats capable of a lot more.

Nope, no damage at all.

The only time that you'll start doing damage is when you up the voltage beyond its safe limit and when the card gets too hot.

Overclocking stock cards to the speeds of the overclocked counterpart is common practice, you wont have any issues.
