yes, this is the biggest gripe i have with all of them, including FF, and i cant stand not having the menu bar at the top of a browser, makes it easier to find things.

this is the way i like my firefox setup, and google as my home page, so i have access to my Gmail and Picasa photo site etc.

i wont comment on chrome or IE any more, the less said about them both the better.

I'm not really sure either. I've tried it in the early days, didn't do a great deal for me. But perhaps recently it's changed a bit, so I'll give it another quick go.

The lack of a search bar in IE9 and Chrome is really frustrating. I dont want to wait for a DNS timeout each time I want to search.

When IE9 first came out, I wanted my search bar back, typed "search bar" into the address bar for the default shit serach to come back, and all of a sudden I got a listing of every bar in Sydney!
Stooopid stooopid software....

My browser is better than yours because...."its google"!

Chrome is way too minimalistic IMO. In fact all browsers are going that way. Hiding the menu bar by default gives me the shits.
o common, i just said I don't like being prompted about junk in firefox so often, i only use chrome over IE because I cant drag tabs to create a new window, not exactly arrogant , sheesh, just use whatever browser you want, i had the same issue as the OP so i discontinued use of FF , not sure how thats arrogant.

you can use opera for all i care

As long as it does what I want then I don't care for brands etc.

hey, not sure if the following issue has anything to do with this flash plugin problem mentioned in this thread, but i dare say it has because i noticed that just after i started getting this flash player crash error, some youtube videos play in fast forward with no sound, but other videos play ok.

the videos i just tried to play are some from my bookmark folder, and have always played perfectly before.

anyone offer any ideas/thoughts as to why this is happening and how it can be fixed ???
