Default ADSL WIFI router to seperate WIFI and internal network

Hey guys

We're looking at implementing WIFI in our work office however we'd like to seperate the WIFI network from our internal network

Its a small business and we were wondering which businesss grade router you guys can recommend that has this option?

Current router we're using is a Cisco 877 which we will be replacing.

There's no permanent VPN tunnels or anything like that. Just adsl, few port forwarding for windows vpn and rdp thats it.

Many thanks!

Separate how? Physical separation (wifi router separate device to ADSL/ethernet router) or logical separation (ethernet=vlanX, wifi=vlanY)?

That's what I'd do, it's a piece of cake.

Keep the 877 and buy a wireless access point.

Vlan the 877, or if you just want one device, buy another 800 series with wifi, e.g. 887w (appears to be EOL, you should still be able to find one) or one of the newer models when they are released.

Ah yes sorry I mean seperated as in vlan and different subnets

The current 877 is on its way and keeps rebooting itself so I was just thinking what other vendors and models are available that is capable which you guys may recommend

I'd suggest that you stay with the Cisco 800 series for sure. Check out the link that bsbozzy posted and pick one that ticks all the boxes for you.
