Default Headset Stand

Hey Guys,

Ive been shopping around for a headset stand for my A40's. I was trying to find somewhere that sold the official astro stands like : http://www.gamestate.co/fi/astro-accessories-stand
But it seems noone sells them anymore.

The only other ones that I could find that were not plastic / looked any good were : http://www.wooaudio.com/products/wahps2.html however the shipping on these to aus was around 50 bucks.

Before I go and buy these, has anyone found any good headset stands that are available in australia?

Cheers in advance

if you feel inclined you should try and build it yourself. I was looking for ages to get a monitor stand and while i was in a hardware store one day i decided to give it a go. Turned out really good, was exactly what I wanted and cost maybe $18 all up

There is a guy that just posted about some stands that he had made.

LEGO

The only building product that you can pull apart and reuse if you wanna change design (Works as a great speaker mount too)

I love the look of these ones - although they are quite $$$y.
There are a few knock off's for a quarter of the price on flea bay, but I think the quality would be sub-par.
Also, if you are going for more of a modern look, you could get some perspex and bake it in the oven and then mould it into shape?

ANOTHER idea would be to go to a hairdressing tafe and get a mannequin head that has had a wicked hair cut to rest your cans upon!

German plywood. It's colder, but more efficient.

Thought i'd give the lego one ago for you guys, since my setup will be changing soon i'll need a seperate stand.

Total cost of parts, $7. Postage would factor in obviously, but no different to purchasing the $100 one...

However the benefit of lego is, if you buy a different headset, just pull it apart and make a new design

Edit, decided to use it with my battery/switch stand. Seems like the perfect fit haha
