it does if you don't give a damn about maintaining contention ratios. more cash for the same costs and who cares about quality.

This reminds me of exactly what optus did when they started their broadband cable service in the mid 90s, it took a few years, but they got fined for it.

“Those that fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.”
― George Santayana

The main concern i had was they were arbitrarily doing whatever they wanted, with no checks and balances. They said unlimited due to aup, but you couldn't check your usage, as there was no usage meter to check, so it was the blind leading the blind.

There is a usage meter to check with spintel. But the numbers contained within are meaningless without a benchmark with which to compare. If you have no idea how much is too much, how can you be expected not to use, well, too much?

Dont think Dodo is as strict they have 3 TB plan and the unlimited is a comparison to say pay 5 cents more and go unlimited LOL

I did 1.5 TB last month and the months before that was over 800Gigs

I have been trying to reach 3 TB but I just can't find anything to Download LOL

I wouldn't mind betting that in their TnC there is also something similar.

Good thing i use 50gb at most per month, not much of a downloader myself. I guess if i were still into games and movies i could expect that to be 500GB or more.

Ideally, another thing you can do is ring up and ask them about their unlimited plan.

Say your interested and want to know if its truly unlimited. If the rep then says yeah you can download as much as you want for as long as you want then you got something to shove up their ass.

that's another way of saying Dodo don't give a shit about the quality of the service they deliver. pay your money, get what you get. if you don't like it then leave, if they have to spend money servicing you then you're not a customer they want.
