So based off that put the SSD in SATA3 0 & put your 4x 3TB drives into SATA2 2,3,4,5

Then use Raid in your BIOS alternatively If you are only doing a Mirror Raid 1 Array you could use Windows 7's Software Raid it's slow to re-sync but works across any Hardware changes.
Beautiful, exactly what I was thinking.... Thanks for this... You know I have another two more SATA 6Gb/s connectors...but there not the intel chipset.

I dont know about your motherboard but if you use that Chip that enable the 2 other sata 6gb ports on my Asus it adds heaps of time in the Post screen and there has been mixed reports on the stability & speed of that chip.

If you are really serious get a dedicated Raid card I have no idea which ones are good so others may want to chime in.

My SSD is secured by a single screw through a random hole in the bottom of my case. An Antec Three Hundred has a 2.5" mount but the Nine Hundred doesn't?

Also forget about using the adapter, for the screws that secure 3.5" drives are too big for it. Annoying!

Might want to massage your wallet a bit first to prepare it for the stress.

Bit late but if you were doing a 4 hdd setup as discussed before then the Sata 3 port is the only one left BUT BLu ray DVD doesn't need any quicker than Sata II
