Hi guys,
Taking my Vaio Z overseas for about 5 months where it'll be living inside my backpack. I want to get a case from it that will guarantee maximum protection whilst being as thin as possible. No need for cables to fit in the bag etc – just needs to basically be a sleeve. Any suggestions? Thanks |

i cant offer any real suggestions right now, only to say that a sleeve type cover isnt really going to offer much more protection than wrapping it in a small towel, unless you prefer something made of some type of metallic material (aluminium for example)
look in ebay, there are lots of different sleeves in there, made of all sorts of materials, and some are pretty cheap. |

Some of the Targus corporate range of bags are air cushioned. You could use their backpack version and hope your other gear fits in as well. As others have said the neoprene style cases won't offer that much protection so unless you can find a padded slip case (if you find one please let me know) then the above may be your best bet.
