USS Enterprise

I recently bought my first DSLR, a Canon 600D. Loving it so far and thought you guys might like these shots. Taken with the EFS 55-250mm lens with circular polarised filter. Cleaned up in elements 10. Feel free to post some CC, but I'm new to SLR photography and photoshop, so please explain any in-depth tips.

Mostly just posting these 'cos they're effin' cool.

Just for you. Not the best shot as I couldn't be bothered going below for a wider lens so had to wait until it was further away to fit it all in frame. It was pretty hazy and dusty, so this is as good as it gets I think.

A real photographer would have got the other lens...

Yeah, she's looking pretty rusty. Still an amazing bit of kit though. Can't believe I saw real life Top Gun in action. So cool. I've seen other carriers, but that was THE actual ship from Top Gun. Only thing missing was Tomcats.

Big E in action... would love to see that.
Being a mlitary junkie I have always had a soft spot for the Big-E.
51 years in operation.. awesome.

Always thought it would be awesome to have a fleet of Enterprise class ships...(yes I'm a trekkie).

Those Super Hornets just doesn't have the presence of a Tomcat...

Very envious...

No games. On operations in the Middle East. Got up close and personal for a few hours. It was certainly a highlight of the deployment.
