Default Right Angle Barb Fittings

Hi all,

So i was putting together my rig and decided on doing it differently to my original plan..

So i bought some Right Angled Barb Fittings: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=19363

I wanted to put one on my mobo block and then on my CPU block using only a short tube going straight between them...

My Problem is on both the CPU and Mobo block it will only bite from one spot and once tightened doesnt face the correct location

Anyone had this problem and how did you resolve it?

I was thinking about using Teflon tape to build it up a bit, then putting the O-Ring on to make it tighten earlier. Thoughts?

Slightly off topic here, but can anyone tell me any single use for the non rotary angle fittings? I can't think of a single situation where having no control over the resultant direction is a good thing.

try harder....
u can join them to other parts that already rotate, like an SLI joiner..or that dont care what the orientation is..like a flow indicator..
and occasionally they point in the direction you want them to and are the right height too
im sure ive used at least one in my current loop and def have in previous ones

So you mean with the inclusion of an extra rotary fitting they are useful? Who would thunk it!

As to the flow indicator, you'd have to have a rotary or non directional fitting like a barb or comp fitting on the other end.

I can remember using some brass fittings - just garden variety plumbing fittings and it isn't an issue there as you can use thread tape to get a good seal and still have room to choose the angle.

If you are looking for more Creek, then I think I know someone who might want to sell some.
