Really? Even 1600 looks pretty noisy on the dpreview side by side test image. I guess as with anything quality is relative/subjective.

might depend on the enviroment? reviews ive watched show it usable upto 3200-6400 similar to the x100? Mixed with a good aperture it was a win for my usage

1" sensor not APS-C.

Dosen't matter though; Looks like it shits on the majority APS-C sensors.

Fair call.
Although my gf has a medium sized purse so she could fit the EOS M in there, but definately not the 650D :P

The other upside is that you can buy lenses for the EOS M and then buy a 650D later on and you wont need to buy more lenses.

You can't use EOS-M lenses on an EOS DSLR.

Not sure what you're getting at.

Is there any reason these mythical FF sensors couldn't come from Sony just like the APS-C ones do?

And then you've just lost any size advantage of going mirrorless. May as well get a small DSLR and the additional speed and control that comes with it.

Yep ptpblem is the deptg of camera/length of lens. Adding on an inch or so of adaptor/spacer ruins the idea. Also f lenses on nikon1 sounds ridiculous to me, you would need incredible central sharpness in a small wide angle for it to be worthwhile

I doubt that full frame lenses would be up to the task anyway.

You could bolt FD lenses on to almost anything with an adapter.
