1100D isn't much larger either. This is also hideously ugly! Saw a youtube video, really cheap plasticy feel to it. Not good considering the competitors NEX, XPro/100 and OM-D.

I highly doubt that it will stay at RRP once released...
Besides according to this review: http://www.photoreview.com.au/review...y-alpha-nex-5n the NEX5 was AU$949 at launch

Eagerly awaiting an aussie price for this.
Was going to get a 600D but this looks like a great option for my GF as she is just wanting to start getting into photography. Would also be a great small camera to take to Canada at the end of the year for our trip :P |
