Guys, having read many results online (mostly on XS) I thought it would be a good time to try some and report my findings. If anyone else wants to bring some results to the table please do. It seems that the 40nm clock pretty well too so feel free to post up if you have these too.
I bought 4x4GB sticks of Samsung 30nm HCH0 rams, these are new gen like the low profile ones (HYK0) but on a normal size PCB. I am testing these on my x79 rig (i7 3930K C2 , Asus Rampage 4 Formula), I would really like to test these again on z77 as the results will certainly be even better. So, this is what I have: Click to view full size! These are rated at 1333 mhz, my objective is to see if I can run them at 2400mhz and at what settings. My results are as follows: First boot was successful at 2400-10-12-12-28-1T 1.65v, it was stable enough to use but not 32m stable so Im working on that first. Second boot I tried 2400-11-12-12-31-1T 1.65v, then trimmed tRAS down to 28 and 1.60v and its 32m stable at that, but I want to try again for c9. Click to view full size! As shown here, for the disbelievers (I wanted to see it for real too), this is 1333mhz ram running at 2400mhz. So far Im pretty happy, specially since the four sticks cost $98 off ebay ![]() More to come. ![]() Edit: A bit more fiddling and these are now passing 32m at 2400-10-12-12-28-1T 1.60v Click to view full size! They passed 12 thread wprime 1024 at these settings and are currently priming, I'm happy with that for now.

Since these are "cheapies" they arent binned, I know a guy that bought 16 sticks to bin, but good ones are going over 2900 !!!! Definately worth a try.

No retail at the moment. Either eBay or BH Photo&Video. There's already been a thread or two about these sticks, but no other results posted before.

This was the thread. Not much in there, just discussing where it can be bought from. Would like to see more results in this thread as well. I'll be testing them out when I finish my mITX build in a few weeks and see what I can hit as well

Wow those are some crazy clocks from seemingly bargain basement sticks. Have you tried pushing them further or is 2400MHz the highest you can get with this set?

X79 wont get much higher unless the IMC is very good, but mine isnt. I have not tested higher, Im aiming for stable 2400 first, I will test higher later.
