I know Phil is using a set on his mITX setup over in this thread

His thread says he's getting 1866 9-9-9-24-1T. Might be worth have a look

It's good to hear. I once bought "cheapo" A-DATA RAM. After quick research it was basically there Vitesta without the fancy heatsinks. Was so stoked as I paid so little for them and got great performance out of them.

Aussie, can you point me in the right direction to buy a pair (or two) of these bad boys?

Want to see how much my z77 can push them to.

Heya Guys,
I too have a set, obtained from Sam earlier-they are going pretty well, and I would expect pretty decent results out of them, probably all capable of 2400 on good timings, on a decent board.

Without effort, I pushed 2200 on a silly mini-itx board, at low voltages - can run a few additional tests if you want, but Aussie's results should be fairly indicative of what's achievable with them.

I am after a few of those now as well, as they seem to be the best OCer RAM so far... I did find them cheap on Amazon FR if anyone is still keen on them:

AMAZON.FR Page - Not sure if they ship to OZ tho, and if so, the associated cost...

They work out to be around AUD$58.50, which I find pretty cheap (with free shipping to me too, now I've fully relocated to France )!

Looking to get them soonish, so can anyone please confirm they are indeed the same one than for the OP and others, before I take the plunge and order a kit?

Cheers

aussie, nevermind what they'll do at 1.6v, what will they do at 1.85v?

Definitely not the same as in the OP. The OP set are the very low profile sticks, as seen in the eBay link. The ones you have linked are not the same.

Mine are not the super low profile ones, they are standard height. Guys I will put up a link later but mine came from an eBay seller in Melbourne.

I will do some testing with ivy soon, they should do pretty well I think.

Edit: jeez I love this Gene-V, first try and it's running at 2600-10-12-12 1.65v

Fff yeah !!

NICE!!!

Soooo tempted to get a set now, even if I don't have a full PC to get them going yet since the big move OS...

EDIT: I've started a thread in France about them too...
