Default yamaha RXV673B

Any experience with this AV Receiver?

I was looking at this AV Receiver anyway, and JB hifi's 30% off yamaha sale might just push me over the edge.

It seems perfect for what I want, however initially I will only be using 2.1. Will this support it?

Cheers!

Yes you can only use it as a 2.1 unit if wanted
but seems like a waste to me to only use 2.1

It's only for the time being.

It probably is a bit excessive for my needs, but I'd rather not have to purchase a new one in a year or two, so the extra features would be very nice.
