Default Paitent Zero - IRLMPFPSRPG

Yeah thats right, real life zombie game, in Australia.

http://irlshooter.com/

Looks like fun!

Its a real life zombie game. Basically they have an abandoned factory or hospital etc they got professional set designers and lighting guys to fit it out for a zombie theme type thing, they have actors that are dressed up as zombies with proper make up artists doing them too.

They designed and built custom guns with a weapons manufacture to replicated a M4, its a laser tag gun (cant shoot people :/) but it has kick back like a real gun and muzzle flash and looks like a re...al M4.

There is a story line and you are in a team of 6 people tryign to survive and work out whats going on.

They said they are bringing it to Sydney and other states, but the story will change and no idea when that will happen.

FUCK YEAH

God DAMN .. look at the pricing!!!

$125 for up to 2 hours of gameplay, but must be part of a team of 6.
$750 for up to 2 hours of gameplay, in a team of 6.
$1000 to play as a individual.

Cool idea though.

When you consider there are actors being the zombies and what is involved, there may be a bit of cash required.

Yeah but its not like you do this every week.
It's a once off thing. Like doing a lap with the V8's or what ever.

Some people would probably spend more on paintballing?

All the guns and other equipment used for the game are solely designed for this show. They're pretty expensive from what i've read.

Yeah i think $125 is excellent value, when you consider paint ball costs around the same depending on ball count

Do the weapons have kickback? Laser wouldn't be so bad if that were the case

Paintball would be fantastic for the first team to play it. Get 10 or so teams in and the venue is a wreck.

Also, it wouldn't exactly help immersion if all the zombies had protective visors... (Tags won't be much better though, I suppose.)

The laser tag is rigged to a computerised stats system.

If you want paintball, go play... paintball...
