Default [CONTEST] Win a Synology DS112

Hello OCAU members!

Synology has partnered with PCWorld Australia to bring you an exciting contest.

Just tell us how a NAS server would increase your office productivity and you will have a chance to test-drive the DS112 in your own home!

If you are chosen as a winner, you also agree to share and send your DiskStation experience to PCWorld. After finishing your mini review of the new DiskStation, you’ll get it to keep as a thank you.

Submit your entry here:
http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/synology_showcase/

Beggars cant be choosers but a 1 bay unit is pretty lame and wouldn't really give a reviewer a substantial overview of the product ranges performance and capabilities.

Hi scrantic,

We will bring more contests to OCAU members! Please stay tuned.

Hi FuzzyKaos,

All the Synology DiskStations run on the same operating system, DSM. I look forward to seeing you in the contest.

Hi tiro_uspsss,
The DS112 is a faster model than the DS112j, and has all the features as the DS112j. This is a great opportunity to try out a Synology DiskStation if you don't have one now.

Hi scrantic,
We will have more contests in the future. If you don't want to wait, the DS112 could be a good start.

Hi Quoccus,
Thanks for the great feedback. We sure will bring other bigger models to OCAU members.

Can't see sponsor under that username...

Are these off the shelf NAS things any good yet, or are they all still well under gigabit performance wise?
