I got back into it again today, this time on the motherboard tray again. I finished off the linking of the 2 reservoirs and some other nick nacks.

Bottom view...

Frontal view...

Drilled the holes through the bottom of the case for the pump mount...

Test mounted the Lamptron Cathode inverter on the rear of the mobo tray. It is staying in the upside down position to make a longer distance for the cables to travel so they pull tight from around the mobo tray....

And i also put the clear stop fittings in the tops of the reservoirs and added the clear 5mm LED's with sleeved cables. I'm not too sure how these will go with the UV cathodes in the reservoirs but they were cheap enough from TKR to find out

I got my second OCZ Agility 120 SSD hard drive back from RMA and hvae decided to RAID0 the pair of them and mount them in a different position. Most likely on the back side of the optical bays and using a molex to 2 x SATA power cable to keep it clean. More pictures to come in the next few days

I had some stuff arrive yesterday from over the seas.

I like stuff
Some of this stuff is from FrozenCPU and the rest of from TheKoolRoom

I think i should name my build. I have never named a build before so i'm open to suggestions?

I was thinking something along the lines of Carbon Bitsa due to the random selection of manufacturers used? Or Silver Moggy or whatever.... to be decided lol. How about Resident Carbon?

Also... I want to keep cables to a minimum coming out of the PSU so i plan to run as many as possible off a single molex cable using splitters.
Does anyone know if i could power the following off a single molex cable from a Corsair HX650?
2 x OCZ Agility 120's
1 x 4 Fan controller(with 4 x 120mm LED fans)
1 x 6 Fan controller(with 6 x 120mm LED fans)
1 x PMP 450 pump
4 x UV cold cathodes

What are my chances? lol
There is a good chance i will have to replace the PSU in the non too distant future also due to it likely being underpowered or at the very least, at it's maximum capacity.

Update time.....
I got to sleeving the fans and a few other cables. Going ok so far for a first timer.

I also mounted the pair of SSD's on a rear side of the bay cage.

And finished mounting and plumbing the pump using the crystal link.

And started playing around with the Silverstone fan filters.

And Friday afternoon i placed an order for some Koolance GPU blocks for the 7950's. Once they arrive, i can finish the build hopefully lol

Koolance GPU blocks arrived today.
Pulled everything down only to find that they do not fit which really sucks cause that was the end of the budget

So now i either need to sell the blocks or attempt to find someone who will do a swap

With my recent non compatible block problem, i am seriously considering just slapping it all together without water cooling the GPU's just so i don't loose interest.
Then i will need to sell off the blocks which shouldn't be too difficult.
Starting to loose faith in this build though. I was soooo close to finishing it all of and now it seems so far away

I sold off a GTX 590 block a couple of months ago after holding onto to it, thinking i would eventually get an actual GTX 590 to fit it too lol.

I'm going to contemplate what to do over the weekend. Work on some other stuff and see how far i get. If i can find a buyer for either both GPU's or both blocks then i might actually consider an Nvidia alternative but i shall see how things pan out over the next couple of day

Doing some research i have found some of the non circle EK blocks are still available in Australia.

https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx...yItemId=609668

Seriously considering a pair of these to keep things on track despite no being a big EK fan

friend of mine has a reference 7950, he would probably trade it for one of yours, might even be interested in buying the other outright

If they are true reference with the end blower fan and not the type with the fan in the middle of the heat sink, i might be interested.

Update time!

I found a buyer for my Koolance blocks so i went ahead and ordered a pair of EK blocks and back plates from PLE while they had their 20% water cooling discount. I lost a bit of money in the process but the discount helped a bit
So with them in the post, i decided to get back to doing something about my build.
I had a problem where the second reservoir fouled against the acrylic cover that sits in the back of the optical drive bays so i have since removed it from the build. This is a good thing because while i was test fitting it, i found it extremely difficult to tube up the fittings behind it to a nice fit. That and i do not have quadruple jointed wrists lol. I am going to use the extra 2 Silverstone fan grills instead of the 2 wire ones i had on their previously.

Now that it is all open instead of enclosed, i had to do some cleaning up inside of their. I sleeved the fans and bundled them together and i also removed the top cover from the fan controller and wrapped it in carbon fiber. I also went ahead and sleeved all the wires coming from the controller. This actually involved partially assembling the fan controller outside of the case and then feeding the sleeved cables through the Bitspower pass through fitting, then shrink wrapping the wires where they exit the controller. THEN i had to complete the assembly of the the rest of the controller. So if i have to take it back out, i have to partially disassemble the controller. So it is essentially part of the case now.
I also covered the drive bays in carbon fiber while i had everything out of them. Unfortunately i stripped on the of the alan key screws and was not able to get the back side out so i had to cover it while it was still in there. Not a lot of a fun but it doesn't look too bad.

I was a bit bored the other night so i started a bit of test tubing in the bottom. I'm not happy with the top bend so i am likely to use a couple of bends to straighten it out a bit.

So thats it for now. I should have the blocks by Tuesday and from there, i should be able to finish the build off in it's current guise.
I am in a bit of a pickle though....
I plan on doing a hardware update when Ivy-E comes to market. I will probably keep the same color theme but remove the carbon fiber and paint the inside of the case. Most likely either metallic cobolt blue or maybe metalic white. I can't help to think i should do it now though wile it is all still in pieces...sorta. If i wait till i do the hardware upgrade, at least it will be kind of like a totally new build but then i have to pull it all down again....hmm

just looking at how you have placed your SS filters on the exhaust fans of the 240 rad...

i really dont recommend that placement, you should be filtering the fans before they are pushing air into the rad, ur just going to trap all that dust into that area which will cause you plenty of headaches.

your better off getting removeable dust filters on the intake fans, this means you wont have all that dust getting trapped in the rad, and you can clean them once a week quite easily.

I have a pair of filters on the intake side as well as the rear. Im not too worried about air flow as it should still be enough to cool.
The reason for both sided is because i have a pretty bad dust problem here and want to reduce the amount that gets into the case and onto the inside of the window. This is the biggest problem i had with my Corsair 600T.

I guess i will know what effect having filters on both sides will do when it is all together. I can always remove them when i do the hardware upgrade. There is likely going to be a few case mods at that time.
