Default Gumtree sillyness.. swap a 5d mk3 for a model cessna.. wtf?!?!

I guess if you're that hard up to find a mk3 then why not.. lol

Quote:
I have a huge cessna with over 3 mt wingspan almost ready to fly that I wish to swap for a canon camera 5D Mk3.
It will be sold or traded in new condition and complete ready to fly.

This plane has state of the art engine (see pic) and radio gear and is valued at over $4000.
its an actual flying aircraft and they make a great talking piece if you wish to hang it up or fly it.

It is an awsome scale plane. It has been built to be dismanteled for transporting and fits into most wagon cars.

If you have a camerA that you wish to part with please contact me.
Otherwise I am open to offers.

lol I dont think they were alluding to it being an actual plane you can get into.

It's pretty cool, I want it just to play with it, I'd crash it for sure though lol

For someone into model planes, sure. Just because you don't see the value doesn't mean no one else will.

I'm not saying it's worthless, I am saying that a mk3 would be around the $3k mark for a 2nd hand one.. The trader values his plane at $4k.. I think it's probably a bit overly creative on that figure tho..

when i'm having a crappy day, i jump on gumtree to laugh at people who are asking for ridiculous prices for shit. Only god knows why people even bother uploading their stuff. $10 off RRP (not even sale price) for a year old item? laughing-girls.jpg

That guy was also advertising the same bull for Nikon cameras a while back. Not sure if it's a scam.

Having said that, good quality model rc railway/air planes/car stuffs are quite expensive.
