Hey,
I headed down to South Bank to watch the Santos GLNG City of Lights again this year. Last year I did an exposure blend with two images. This year I got my mate to come along and we tried to get a wider shot. This image contains 4 shots. There is an image blend for the left shot and the right shot and then they were merged. We had a few technical difficulties. His camera moved between the twilight shot and the light display shot so I had to manually align the images as Photoshop couldn't do it properly. I also had to manually blend the images this year too as the auto blend function in Photoshop revealed poor results. Also, Photoshop had a hard time stitching my first few attempts but was able to stitch this one. I have purchased PTGUI now to use for future stitching. Anyway image is below. I know it's not prefect but I thought it was good enough to share. Let me know what you think! ![]() Santos City of Lights 2012 I by Martin Canning, on Flickr C&C Welcome! Thanks, Martin |

The drop shadow makes it look a bit tacky, but otherwise a cool night shot.
