Wicked holiday set, I like the desat post style & there's some good composition in there.

#6 is perhaps a little murky although it could work as is.

#5, #12, #13 are pretty nice, my favs.

The X100 has excellent IQ, the AF speed is a bit of a let down though (for me).

Its almost impossible to take a bad photo in NY, was there for 11 days in May 2011, and all I got is a Canon IXUS50 from 2005. Friends and family were stoked with the photos I had taken.

Only C&C I have is, #12 - Manhattan, that's Brooklyn Bridge!!!!!!!

Can't wait to get to get back to NY, unbelievable city.

Nice shots! The USA is definitely full of so many varied states to take photos. I should post some of mine up with my first solid effort of using a dslr.

They look great mate. For some reason I like 4 and of course 12.

I just sold all my Canon gear and replaced it with a X100. Haven't regretted it yet.

Out of interest how many batteries you got for travel? Aftermarket ones ok?

Thanks for the comments.

Opps, yep it is Brooklyn Bridge Bridge!

Took one after market ebay battery that was not quite as good as the original but no complaints for the price.

Took out the nikon d300 once the whole trip.
Just much easier carrying round the X100 with the wife's daily shopping.
