Was the tablet setup when you got it or did you run through that, if not hard reset. Even a cheap dodgy Chinese tablet should connect to the play store. It's called Market on a 2.1 device before it updates.

when you first connect to the market on a 2.1 device it should automatically update to the Play store, check your region settings are correct.

It really does sound like you will have to root the device and flash a different ROM, someone else may know.
otherwise you can try stuff like the below. http://www.howtogeek.com/106175/the-...ndroid-market/

If I may be frank, you bought a shit device, and it's only salvation is through (you learning to) root it and put on another rom.
Failing that, buy something decent, like a nexus or other similar quality device. ![]() (I'm all for cheap and nasty, but not if it doesn't do what you want it to do). |

What did you want to do with it?
A single core with 256MB of RAM is going to struggle with anything except the most basic of web browsing. Multitasking is out of the question. You may just have to root and install APK manually. THe problem with a lot of cheap devices is they need to emulate the ID of a more well known device,, the Market/Play store only allows certified devices. You have other market type apps available like Amazon, etc that don'[t require this. Try XDA. |
