Dual SIM not core.

says 1GHz processor - checking the manufacturers site does say dual core though....

You'd think Aldi would put a better description on their site, sigh.

Lol knew it was a dual core - for the money its going to be interesting to see how close it will go to the mainstream players.

Very similar specs to the Huawei G300/G600.

Personally I wouldn't touch it. Aldi have been pumping out some massively shitty tech. Did anyone else buy those 3 pack push LED light sets? The things were so dodgy one broke while I tried to turn it on.

It's just more shit dumped on us that no other country will buy. =/

For that price I'd rather buy a second hand SGS II.

Aldi was selling junk in Europe for nearly 100 years before they came to Australia. Having lived in the UK, I can assure you that the crap they sell here is no different to the crap they sell over there.

If it is anything like their tablets I would probably avoid this and grab something second hand for the same price. I just sold a Galaxy Nexus for about that. The big issue I have with tech like this is that it gives people wanting to try android a bad experience which is a shame.

You get 60days to make that call. The biggest issue im finding with aldi tablets besides not meeting the specification on the box or website, is the Android OS itself is just a very basic vanilla ROM (not a bad thing on its own) that has just got a quick spit n polish without refinement, and you get the little oddities happening, like bluetooth not connecting, Wifi incompatabilities, in the case of my 3G tablet from them, the Assisted GPS isnt working, only regular GPS (Takes 10mins to get a lock).

But 60 days return policy you cant argue, if the unit isnt upto your liking, return it.
