Default Lightning storm

We dont get a lot of lightning here in Perth, so when we do all of the locals tend to get photographing!

I was limited with time so had to just go a few minutes down the road to get a decent composition.
Have edited a couple differently for different moods, hopefully conveys the spectacular show i witnessed.

All shot with Sony A7Rii and Tamron 15-30 VC

1. Used the electricity poles for composition. Ironically no lighting around them

2. I shot this mostly for the clouds, with single bolt sneaking out

3. this is what i was aiming for, bolts out of the poles

4. a low contrast B+W

5. a silouette

6. high contrast environmental one

Wonderful shots! Well done.

I think B/W shots take away the vibrance and colour of the event so never in favour of them when it comes to lightening shots, but I think 6 is excellent.
