tldr wait until October guyz.

https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/0...uttering_bugs/

Quote:
Microsoft says it is working to address a bug that had caused some Windows 10 applications to experience momentary "stuttering" performance problems.

The flaws, reported to Microsoft by gamers who had installed the Creators Update, resulted in games stuttering and momentarily dropping frame rates. After months of waiting for a fix, users running the Insider Build have now been told by Microsoft that patches are in the pipeline.

"Thank you everyone for providing feedback and submitting traces," Microsoft said via an alert posted to the Feedback Hub app on Windows 10. "We have been analyzing the traces from your feedback and have identified several different problem sources surfacing as stutter in games."

For those not running the Insider test builds, the patches will arrive in October when the new Creators Update hits general availability.

Here I was thinking Win 10 had advantages for game performance. Meh, I'm still quite content on Windows 7, until MS find a way for force me over to Win 10.

I don't recall saying there was no issue. How many are effected by this? Is there any indication of the numbers? Is it limited to a particular set of software/hardware? Perhaps you should work for MS, get the job of fixing it done much quicker right

It will get fixed when they sort out the issue then won't it. But I suspect it would get sorted out quicker if you were there on the team. Send them your resume!

6 months to fix a major bug in a live OS - you're totally right NBD! That's 6 months of not even ADMITTING to the problem.

Again, how many are effected by this? What are the numbers wee are talking here? Are you personally effected by it? I know I'm not. has there been an identified set of circumstances where this occurs?

Get stuttering in battlefield. Random as too, once every like 4 hours or so. Feels like 10fps for like maybe 1 minute 30secs or so.
