Tried looking in the manual for the bios reset jumper?
OR search for the mobo manual at the maker's website? OR pull out battery for 24 hours or so to clear bios? |

if u want to physically take the system apart, all you need is a medium sized phillips head screwdriver. some other tools that may come in handy are a few more screwdrivers of various sizes, needle nose pliers and something to clean all the dust like an old toothbrush and a vacume cleaner

find the little lithium battery which powers the bios.
then slide a thin piece of non conductive material between the battery and one of its contacts. leave it there for a bit. OR just pull the battery out. either way. bios'll reset. =-) |

There is usually a jumper near the keyboard socket that will be in the open position (usually the jumper is sideways). If you close the jumper then power up, the CMOS should clear, just don't forget to put the jumper back to the open position.

From my experience the BIOS reset jumper is normally the one closest to the battery. It'll be either 2pin (with the jumper only on 1 pin) or a 3pin (with the jumper on 2 of the 3 pins).
Whist powered OFF, put the jumper in the closed (on both pins) OR in other position (on the other 2 of the 3 pins) and leave for ~5? secs then replace it to it's original position. |

y not use a bios cracker??? i have uploaded the main ones
Ami Award that one is a com file, the next works better on newer bioses for some wierd reason, it is an exe Award New Extract them to anywhere, and run the files, when u reboot you should have a bios that has been "cracked" and been reset to bios defaults, no password etc. You might have to auto detect your drives again though.
