Default Guide in making a Shroud?

hi,
i am currently looking forward to make myself a shroud,
but i've never done this before,
anyone has a guide for it, a link etc?
or anyone can help in this?

Cathar included a short tutorial on how to make a simple fan shroud in his post Making of the Big Black Arse Radiator

alternatively, if you have no tools/no metal working experience/lazy, just make one out of thin card and take it to a metal-working-type-place (sorry don't know the right name for it) and ask them to make you one
