i have my smart fan 2 connected to my powersuply and connected to my motherboard so i can monitor the rpm. any way the wire doesnt reach the motherboard by itself so i have to connect to powersuply. I plugged in the controller knob thingy and it wont let me controll the fan speed i can turn it up down whatever but fan stays on 5000 rpm. So what am i doing wrong?

Just take off the blue jumper that comes factory installed,
