sb live issues

i remember reading about some issues between a kt7a and a live, whats the go with that?? is it all of the live series, or was it just the de5.1 (crap memory here), and are there any fixes, etc??

i know the de5.1 dont like it, but would a value work?? and are there any fixes for the de5.1/whatever cards dont like it??

also, didn't it have something to do with ide config..??

anyway, any help with this would be choice (lol) i sorta need to know whethere i need to start saving for a gtxp or if i can flog a live value to get me thru til chrissy...
